Tickling: When someone is tickled, the parietal lobe is activated. The parietal lobe is associated with sensory perception.


Light: light activates the visual cortex. The visual cortex detects patterns and movements.


Love/Romance: romance activates the frontal lobes. the frontal lobes are the brains emotional centers and is used in sexuality and social behavior.


Sound: sound is associated with the auditory cortex which processes sound. If this sound is someone's voice, two other areas are activated; Broca's area and Wernicke's area, which are involved in speech and language comprehension.


Problem Solving: solving a puzzle activates the frontal lobe, which helps in reasoning and problem solving.


Eating: eating is associated with the parietal lobe, which is associated with sensory perception.


Congrats: praise activates the frontal lobe, the emotional center of the brain. The frontal lobe aids in personality, planning and executing actions.


Weight: The adult human brain weighs about 3 pounds


Blood Loss: after 8-10 seconds after loss of blood supply to the brain, you will lose conciousness.


Energy: Your brain uses 20% of your body's energy, but it makes up only 2% of your body's weight.
